This is my wife's favorite bar of soap, and the soap gets it's name from her green eyes.

Once you have tried Green Goddess soap, good luck going back to the synthetic stuff from the grocery store. This is the real deal.

We used to live near a well hidden park in West Seattle, and one day in the springtime a few years ago, I went and picked some nettle for an idea for a soap I had never seen before. Nettle has a very long history of humans using it in many ways, and I wanted to be part of that. Now, in our yard I have nettle growing from the same nettle patch from the park.

I haven't seen too many bars of soap made with nettle, and no others with home-grown nettle.

For Green Goddess I have created my own scent with essential oils of lavender, tea tree and orange. The moisturizing effects of the combination of coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil and avocado oil create a wonderfully mild, yet cleansing soap. This bar of soap has the added benefits of ground nettle leaves which add a small amount of scrubbiness to the bar.

The only other ingredients besides the above listed are distilled water and lye. Two things that need to be present to create soap. There is no lye present in my finished bars of soap. Just pure moisturizing soap.

Average size for this bar is 6 ounces.

This is a fairly hard bar of soap and you will get your money's worth if allowed to dry out between uses.
